The Global Climbing Initiative is a nonprofit supporting climbing communities worldwide. Through research, community engagement, and partnerships, they bring together organizations invested in the future of climbing and provide best practices for supporting the growth of climbing in emerging contexts. GCI believes rock climbing can empower individuals, create new sources of livelihood, and foster the development of a more sustainable and equitable world. Their mentorship has not only opened our minds to our potential but they are also empowering us with tools to reach that potential. GCI will be helping us develop strategies and evaluate projects so that we can analyse and address our impact better.
